Lack of staff morale, high turn over rate, upper management only cares about filling apartments, no matter who comes in. If you are liked, all is OK, if not, BEWARE.
Some residents like to talk about the employees behind their backs, but when employees go to management or try to, nothing is done in the fear the resident will move out. Trust me, this place is not you answer for a job.
As soon as anyone can get in, they see what the company is all about, then they quit. All being said, you should not waste you time in applying here.

Southeast Regional Team HORRIBLE and ABUSIVE. SLC CFO and VP AWARE and dont care
SLC acquired Presidential Place in Aug 2012 and since the building has gone done significantly. They have gone through 2 regionals and 2 executive directors in a short time.
The current and past regional team are abusive, rude. They degrade you every time they talk to you. They do not care about the residents, families of staff and have said it. ITs all about the money.
Seniorlifestyle employed regional staff from Emeritus. So needless to say they run Seniorlifestyle like Emeritus and for those of you who saw the expose about Emeritus that is exactly what SLC is turning into with these regional people that have been brought in to over see the communities in the Southeast region. The CFO, VP and others are fully aware of what is going on and refuse to address the problems. The new executive director that is currently at Presidential is also abusive.
Speaks to the families and residents in an extremely disrespectful manor.
I do not and will not ever recommend anyone to work for SLC an or move their family member in. What you see and hear is definitely not what you get.

I will agree with the previous review. I am a current employee and have tried a couple of times to voice concerns only to be ignored, brushed off and scoffed at.
The RDO, VPO and RDSM are the QUEENS of the "girls club" (similar to the boys club I'm sure you've heard of). If you are not in their inner circle, you, your community, and your concerns are ignored. The CHART philosophy they preach is a bunch of ***. The company president should go back and reconsider what he is asking of his upper mgmt.
as they DO NOT exemplify the mission. In fact, several of us are considering leaving and filing a suit against the three ladies mentioned above due to the environment in which they create. No one will speak publicly as we fear retaliation. We've seen it happen before.
You can't go to HR as they do not return calls either.
The CEO is arrogant and self righteous and believes the *** these ladies feed him....and they laugh about it to boot!
This organization is a DISGRACE to the senior living industry.

This woman is the worst manager with the worst company I have ever had an encounter with. Don't bother trying to get any problems fixed in any of her properties she just ignores calls and emails and hides behind her employees.
Their corporate office has no idea what they have running there operation all she cares about is numbers they could care less about people.
Do not put your family member in their care.Very expensive and only want the move in for the sales bonus.I moved my mother out because of the conditions of the building and the lousy leadership changing every week.

I am a resident of Andara. Worst employee turnover I've ever seen in all my years.
The management is disrespectful to not only the employees but also the residents. The onsite maintenance/housekeeping Director is the worst followed by the Executive Director as a close 2nd.
Many quality employees have just walked out.
